Presentation Ideas from Your Peers - Block 3

List a new skill or idea you gained from watching one of your peers presenting their PowerPoint Project. Your comment could relate to the PowerPoint software or the presenter's style or technique. Be sure your comment is unique. Read the existing comments first.

Example:
I learned from Joanne Cool that fading out each bullet as you click on the next bullet helps keep the audience's attention focused on the bullet I am currently discussing.

Comments:
Well I learned that there are many opinions about different topics. Like the Wal*Mart example.

I learned that you can make your presentation background different for each slide and make it look really creative and cool. You can paste a picture on there and enlarge it. Mine was just from PowerPoint's backgrounds. I also learned that Bethany is a stubborn perfectionist.

I learned that it takes a lot of practice to get the presentation just right. You have to practice going over your slides and make sure you have the timeing just right so that your presentation isn't too fast or too slow.

What i learned from the powerpoint projects is that they can be useful not only in presenting ideas but comparing two ideas

I learned from my own experience of the power point projects is that if you use an automatically timed slide that it makes the presentation go smoother.

I lerned from the other presentations that if you use many new backgrounds and sounds, that if keeps you more focused on their presentation. Also make sure that all of your information is correct unlike Carlene Miller's presentation where she stated that Monolito and I wear Mary Kate and Ashley jeans, which I don't.

I learned that if you cant find a template you like you can take a picture from an outside source and send it to the back of the slide you can make that your background.

i learned from these projects is different points on wal mart pros and cons

I learned that watching power point while someone is presenting is a lot more interesting than just listening to them talk. I think it makes it easier to understand what they are saying.

I learned that from other people's presantatios, you can show so much creativity, and opinon... I also learned that during the presentations if you use a varity of slide shows, it will grab the audiances attention more. Making it more of an enjoyable project.
